The world we live in is stressful. We’re constantly moving from place to place, task to task, and we are moving so fast we can often barely keep track of what’s next, let alone what our feelings or thoughts are. This creates a stress level that is difficult to manage.
What many know is that meditation can help reduce that stress. If you’re like I was, you know that meditation can help with your stress level, but the idea seems daunting—having to keep a still mind and body for any length of time can be overwhelming enough that it meditating quickly becomes a low priority.
What many do not know, however, is that you don’t have to sit still or keep your mind empty to meditate. There are easy ways to meditate while doing things you do every day.
While being still has its benefits, there are many different ways to merge activity and meditation and still reap the rewards of meditation. I’ll be offering a 7-week online class where I’ll go through many different ways to actively meditate.
